Ongoing Projects

ABAStroke sp. z o.o. is implementing a project co-financed by European Funds entitled Innovative Class IIa medical device for cognitive rehabilitation for stroke patients, which can be reimbursed in at least one European market under the European Funds for MaƂopolska 2021-2027 program, Priority 1. European funds for research and development and entrepreneurship, Action 1.2 Innovation vouchers for SMEs, project type A. Innovation vouchers for SMEs, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund

The aim of the project is to create an innovative Class IIa medical device for cognitive rehabilitation for stroke patients, which can be reimbursed in at least one European market.

The project has been divided into two stages:

  1. Conducting advanced analyses of MRI images of stroke patients using the ABAStroke application and comparing them with a control group. The aim of these analyses is to identify structural and functional changes in the brain that correlate with progress in cognitive rehabilitation. This will allow for a better understanding of rehabilitation mechanisms and determination of factors that have the greatest impact on improving cognitive functions in stroke patients.
  2. Conducting comprehensive quality certification processes and certification as a Class IIa medical product. This will confirm that the created technology meets high safety and effectiveness standards, but most importantly, it is necessary for the innovative product to enter the market as a medical device and be reimbursed by payers for stroke patients.
